Adult Japanese Language Classes

Are you fascinated with the Japanese culture? Are you planning a trip to Japan and want to learn basic Japanese conversation? Perhaps being able to speak Japanese will help you with your career.

For those adults interested in learning conversational Japanese, Gakuen offers a beginner class and intermediate class (enrollment in intermediate level requires prior instructor approval) during the school year. Only a beginner level class will be offered this summer.

Here are the details for the 2023 Summer Adult Japanese Conversation Class:

 

Classes held virtually via Zoom

A session is six-weeks, which meets 2 hours once a week.

Level: Beginner 

(no prior knowledge of the language required)

​

Instructor: Masaji Saito

​

Day & Time: Tuesdays 6-8pm

​

Class Dates: June 20 through August 1st (no class July 4th)

​

Fee: $95 (no proration for missed classes)

​
