Important Information
Please read through the entire information below before registering your child
for the 2024-25 school year

*To register your child for Kindergarten level, the child must also be starting kindergarten at their weekday school in the 2024-25 school year.
*Class size for Level 1 will be capped at 15 students. Kindergarten students moving up to level 1 will be given priority. UPDATE AS OF 5.27.24 - Level 1 has reached maximum enrollment. If you would like to place your child on the waitlist should an opening become available, then please submit registration.
*Registration for the 2024-25 school year will close on July 31, 2024.
*The first day of school will be Saturday, August 10, 2024. The school year will end on Saturday, May 17, 2025. See the 2024-25 Academic Calendar.
*See tuition information for the school year. Monthly tuition will be $85 per student. Tuition will be discounted to $80 a month per student before any discounts, IF payment is made via cash or check.
*Touban (Volunteer service) required. Families are to sign up for FIVE Gakuen volunteer slots AND to help put your child(ren)'s class basket together for Gakuen's annual Basket Raffle Fundraiser. Sign up for Touban here. Make a note of your volunteer dates as you will need this information to complete the registration form. There may be other events in which we may ask for any available and willing volunteers. If any family is unable to complete volunteer service, the volunteer service fee for the school year will be forfeited in which case the family will need to pay the volunteer service fee again the following school year.
*Save the date! Orientation for new families to be held in-person on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 9:30am at Gakuen. Please be sure to attend if you are new to our Gakuen.
*To participate in Gakuen, ESGVJCC requires each student to complete and submit a COVID-19 Informed Consent and Waiver. If you have not previously submitted one (for each student), please complete it and upload it on the registration form.
*Current ESGVJCC COVID policy requires for any person coming to the community center to provide proof of vaccination or to show a negative COVID test (antigen/home kit is okay) done within 72 hours of visiting the community center. Temperature checks will be done at the gate before school. A face mask is optional during Gakuen hours.
*A new "Remind" class has been created for the 2024-25 school year. Previous Gakuen class will be archived at the end of July. NEW and EXISTING families need to register for this new Remind class to receive communication from the Gakuen Board.

*Payment - An invoice will be emailed in August to the address provided on the registration form. Payment may be remitted in one of following ways:

Make check payable to ESGVJCC Gakuen with student name(s) on memo line

*Families must be a member of ESGVJCC in order to participate in any of its programs including Gakuen. If you are new to ESGVJCC, please pay for a family membership. Payments may be made online here. If you are family of a continuing student, please be sure to stay current on the annual membership.
