Important Information

Please read through the entire information below before registering your child

for the 2025-26 school year

*To register your child for Kindergarten level, the child must also be starting kindergarten at their weekday school in the 2025-26 school year.

​

*Class size for Level 1 will be capped at 15 students. Students who attended kindergarten at Gakuen and are moving up to level 1 will be given priority.

​

*Registration for the 2025-26 school year will close on July 31, 2025. 

​

*The first day of school will be Saturday, August 9, 2025. The school year will end on Saturday, May 16, 2026. See the 2025-26 Academic Calendar.

*See tuition information for the school year. Monthly tuition will be $85 per student. Tuition will be discounted to $80 a month per student before any discounts, IF payment is made via cash or check.

*Volunteer service is required. We Families are to sign up for FIVE Gakuen volunteer slots AND to help put your child(ren)'s class basket together for Gakuen's annual Basket Raffle Fundraiser. Sign up for volunteer service here (or click on button SignUp button below) before proceeding to registration as you will need to include your volunteer dates to complete the registration form. There may be other events in which we may ask for any available and willing volunteers. If any family is unable to complete volunteer service, the volunteer service fee for the school year will be forfeited in which case the family will need to pay the volunteer service fee again the following school year.

*Save the date! Orientation for new families to be held in-person on Saturday, August 9, 2025 9:30am -10:30am at Gakuen. Please be sure to attend if you are new to our Gakuen.

​

*As a safety measure, we will continue to conduct temperature checks at the gate before school. A face mask is optional during Gakuen hours. Please have your child stay home, if they are feeling unwell.

​

*A "Remind" class has been created for the 2025-26 school year. Previous Gakuen class will be archived at the end of July. NEW and EXISTING families need to register for this new Remind class to receive communication from the Gakuen Board. The continuing families will be rolled over to the new class.

  • To receive communication via texts - Send a text from your cell phone to 81010 with @gakuen25 in the message box.

 

*Payment – The registration/first Gakuen invoice will be emailed in August to the e-mail address provided on the registration form. Payment may be remitted in one of following ways:​

  • Online

    • Through a PayPal account, credit card, or debit card

  • In-person during Gakuen hours (cash or check)​. Gakuen office is Room 2.

    • Make check payable to ESGVJCC Gakuen with student name(s) on memo line

​

*Membership - Families must be an active member of ESGVJCC in order to participate in any of its programs including Gakuen. If you are new to ESGVJCC, please pay for a family membership. Payments may be made online here. For continuing students/families, please be sure to stay current with the annual membership.
